Dr. Le Manach is a Principal Investigator for POISE 3 Pilot, and for the POSPOM (PreOperative Scores to predict PostOperative Mortality) research group at the Population Health Research Institute group. He is Assistant Professor within the Department of Aneshtesia and the Department of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at McMaster University.

Dr. Le Manach holds a MD in anesthesia and critical care from Paris VI University, a Masters of Cardiac Physiology from Paris VII University, and a PhD in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Paris V University in France. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers. His main clinical research interests include the prediction of postoperative complications after surgery, perioperative hemodynamic management care and strategies to improve outcomes after surgery. His basic science topics include causal inference in observational studies and advanced modelling approaches.
