The program offers undergraduate university students the opportunity to work directly with our researchers and gain valuable hands‑on research experience. The studentship runs from early May to the end of August.

Mentorship and Training
More than 120 scientists have been trained by PHRI and are now contributing to research capacity in PHRI, other parts of Canada, and around the world. Supervised and mentored by our Principal Investigators in the conduct of clinical trials and epidemiological studies, our training positions include Research and Clinical Fellowships, MD/PhD programs, and Post-Doctoral.
On the operational side at PHRI – across the departments of program management, biostatistics, ICT, contracts management, finance, research supply management, and administration, as well as across more than 100 study teams within a dozen research programs – we are proud to offer a formal mentorship program for all employees.
