Sonia Anand
PHRI Senior Scientist Sonia Anand spoke yesterday as a guest of CanCOVID, a network of active researchers, academics, patient partners, decision makers, and industry partners dedicated to an evidence-informed response to the COVID‑19 pandemic. The group was launched in April 2020 with federal funding.
Dr. Anand’s half-hour talk, “Understanding COVID‑19 risk, vaccine confidence, and immunogenicity in the South Asian population in Canada” discussed the objective and process of the COVID CommUNITY – South Asian study underway in both the Greater Toronto area and the Greater Vancouver area.
