Members of the COVID CommUNITY-South Asian study team at PHRI held its third public ‘townhall’ on COVID-19 vaccines last night.
This time, the free webinar included the hot topics of boosters, vaccination in children, and general immunity.
Fielding questions form the public were: McMaster University’s Sonia Anand (population health, vascular disease), Zain Chagla (infectious diseases) and Gita Wahi (pediatrics), as well as University of Toronto’s Fahad Razak (internal medicine), who is a member of Ontario’s Science Table.
They were joined by Sabina Vohra-Miller of the South Asian Health Network.
As was the case with the first two townhalls – June 17 and July 27 – COVID CommUNITY-South Asian study team members Sujane Kandasamy and Jayneel Limbachia moderated the discussions.
