Jeff Healey

PHRI Senior Scientist Jeff Healey will speak at a June 21st webinar about the results of his trial looking at S-ICD versus TV-ICD for patient outcomes (ATLAS S-ICD).

The free webinar, aimed at electrophysiology physicians working in defibrillator implantation, is titled “ATLAS and the Weight of Experience and being held at 12 noon – 12:30 pm ET. (Register here.)

Healey will discuss the results of the ATLAS trial, evaluating and comparing the lead-related complications between TV-ICD and S-ICD, and reviewing key secondary endpoints including inappropriate shocks. He presented results at Late Breaking Clinical Trials session at Heart Rhythm 2022.

The ATLAS results will be discussed in light of other real-life performance and contemporary data. Topics will include:

  • Did the S-ICD show superiority over the TV-ICD for the primary endpoint in the ATLAS trial?
  • How do the ATLAS results compare to real world S-ICD performance?
  • How has the S-ICD evolved over time?

Tuesday, June 21st, 12:00 – 12:30 pm ET webinar – register.
