Jeff Healey

PHRI Senior Scientist Jeff Healey spoke at a webinar today about the results of his trial looking at S-ICD versus TV-ICD for patient outcomes (ATLAS S-ICD) in light of other real-life performance and contemporary data.

Titled “ATLAS and the Weight of Experience, the Boston Scientific webinar, aimed at electrophysiology physicians working in defibrillator implantation, was recorded and can be watched here.

Healey discussed the results of the ATLAS trial, evaluating and comparing the lead-related complications between TV-ICD and S-ICD, and reviewed key secondary endpoints including inappropriate shocks. He had presented results in late April at the Late Breaking Clinical Trials session at Heart Rhythm 2022.
