Canadian Pediatric Weight Management Registry

Overview

To enroll and monitor children participating in weight management programs across Canada and to characterize the metabolic and psychosocial comorbidities, identify the determinants of these comorbidities and examine whether these abnormalities change over time. We will examine subgroups of obese children, based on responsiveness to the current treatment paradigms, to identify potential ‘obesity phenotypes’.
