Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the remarkable contributions of women everywhere and especially here at PHRI.

Our women researchers and staff are central to everything we do. They advance PHRI’s mission to improve health outcomes well beyond Canada’s borders. We honor those saving lives in hospitals while leading research that address gaps in disease prevention, treatment, and care improvement.

This work is supported by an extraordinary team behind the scenes, managing national and international trials while maintaining the highest professional standards. They ensure that studies run safely, accurately, and efficiently despite the unexpected challenges any research project brings.

“International Women’s Day is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the women whose everyday efforts and commitment make the work at PHRI possible. From research to operations and support teams, their work reflects our values of excellence and collaboration. Their contributions don’t just support our organization, they strengthen the impact we have on health and communities worldwide,” said Jessica Vincent, head of operations at PHRI.

With deep gratitude, we acknowledge all the women at PHRI in research, administration, IT, quality assurance, statistics, study teams, contracts, research specimen and supply management, research data operations, and operations. Thank you for your brilliance, dedication, and leadership. Your work transforms research into evidence that informs the future of healthcare.
