Seven PHRI researchers have received more than $3 million in funding through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Spring 2025 Project Grant competition.

A trial comparing two types of blood thinners used after heart surgery: direct oral anticoagulants versus vitamin K antagonists (DANCE). - Scientist Jessica Spence
An international repository of patient data to help predict delirium in hospitalized older adults who are not in intensive care. - Scientist William McIntyre
A randomized trial comparing two types of shock placement for restoring normal heart rhythm in people with atrial fibrillation (SHOCK-VECTOR).
