PHRI’s Statistics Department is currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Statistical Programmer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical data standards and statistical programming, with demonstrated expertise in developing CDISC-compliant SDTM and ADaM datasets. Experience in producing and maintaining Clinical Study Reports, including the generation of tables, listings, and figures, is essential for success in this role.
As a Statistical Programmer you will:
- Designing and maintaining study databases, as well as study reports.
- Collect report specifications, program reports and associated graphics, and design a user-friendly reports interface.
- Set-up procedures for data import and export as needed.
- Conduct system consistent checks.
- Test and validate all aspects of programs for accuracy and provide user support for reports interface.
- Maintains and supports other programs, created by other programmers, as needed
Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAS in the Unix environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of both the UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Ability to learn quickly, detail oriented and willing do the tasks under timeline
- Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as the ability to work within a team environment
- Knowledge of DataFax would be preferred
- Programming Languages preferred: SAS, Perl, Awk and Shell scripting
This is a Hamilton Health Sciences temporary full-time posting: 37.5 hours/week Monday through Friday, based in Hamilton, Ontario.
