PHRI is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Coordinator (regular, full time) to join the Quality Assurance team.
The Junior Quality Assurance Coordinator is to support Quality Assurance activities such as auditing, Quality Document review and management, Auditing process and Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA). To develop Quality Document and regulatory training materials to the Population Health Research Institute (PHRI) organization and to support Quality Assurance departmental initiatives by providing advanced administrative support. They are responsible for Quality Document review and management, regulatory and quality training, auditing and quality systems improvement.
QualificationS:
- Undergraduate Degree in Health related or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of data management and research/clinical trials experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Quality Assurance Auditing of clinical trials/research and writing, reviewing and/or managing Standard Operating Procedures experience.
- Ability to problem-solve, work independently, adapt to constant change, take initiative, self-motivate, be flexible, and multi-task
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic data capture software and data authoring software such as Framemaker, iDataFax, MedDRA, WHO-DD,ICD-10-CA, CCI and WINRECS
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), both its principles and its practical application in a risk-based environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office applications
This is a Hamilton Health Sciences regular full-time posting: 37.5 hours/week Monday through Friday, based in Hamilton, Ontario.
