Dr. Molnar is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McMaster University. She earned her M.D. at the University of Saskatchewan followed by internal medicine training at Western University, and completed her nephrology and MSc (Epidemiology) training at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training (KRESCENT) Program New Investigator Award through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Research Interests

Her research program focuses on chronic kidney disease; specifically, improving the pre-dialysis care of patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and reducing cardiovascular complications in patients with chronic kidney disease.

Risk Factors for Suboptimal Dialysis Initiation. A multi-centre prospective cohort study funded by the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
