Overview

To better understand health problems such as high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol and triglyceride levels and an abnormal response to sugars, in children and adolescents who are overweight and to learn more about why these health problems develop, how they change when a child or adolescent is part of a program like “Shaping Up”, and what causes these changes to occur in some and not in others.
