Prevention of Arrhythmia Device Infection Trial

The primary objective of this pilot study is to evaluate the feasibility of an infection prevention intervention with antibiotics in high risk ICD patients undergoing a second device related procedure.

Study Design: Randomized Pilot Study, Parallel Open Assignment.

Intervention: Antibiotics vs. Usual care.

Length of Study: 1.5 years

# of Patients: 500

Patient Populations: Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator undergoing Second Procedure.
