PHRI offers a variety of training opportunities for skills development in regulatory matters as well job-related skills. The training consists of lecture presentations to facilitate discussion and web-based modules that can be completed at the learner's own pace.

Currently, the following topics are covered:

• Overview of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations in Clinical Research
• ISO 14155 Regulations for Research involving Medical Devices
• FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 Regulations for Electronic Signature and Information Systems
• Privacy Regulations in Clinical Research
• PHRI Standard Operating Procedures
  

Certificates of completed training are issued upon completion of quizzes at the end of the training.

There is no fixed schedule for these presentations; however, they are typically offered every alternate month, based on the identified need and hiring of new staff.

PHRI also offers seminars on current topics in clinical research, research methodology and biostatical methodology.
